You never told me

you never told me what you expected
but you blamed me for not delivering it

Funny how people want clarity from you,
while giving you nothing but silence.
That’s the problem with silent expectations.
We build entire stories in our heads,
then punish people for not reading the script we never gave them.

Communication isn’t mind reading.
Love isn’t guessing.
Respect isn’t assuming.

If something matters to you, say it.
If it hurts you, name it.
Because blaming someone for failing a test
they didn’t even know they were taking...
that’s not fair. That’s not love.

Say what you need.
Or accept what you get.
You can’t have both.

If it mattered, you would’ve said it.
If it hurt, you would’ve shared it.
If it was real, you would’ve been honest.

So don’t blame me for not delivering
what you were too scared to ask for.
